YWCA launches Every 9 Seconds Campaign to end domestic violence

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. At YWCA Evanston/North Shore, this means the beginning of our month-long, all-out effort to raise awareness about domestic violence, how it affects families, and how we can end it by working together. Your gift to Every 9 Seconds: YWCA Challenge to End Domestic Violence is the first step.

Every gift to the Every 9 Seconds Challenge is being matched dollar-for-dollar by an anonymous YWCA donor. When you give today, you can double your impact, and your support for survivors of domestic violence.
Because October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, our goal is to raise $150,000 this month to provide the critical services that help survivors heal. Your gift today will help us reach that goal and will help survivors heal from abuse and trauma.
You can make a one-time gift online, or become a monthly donor. You can also create a personal fundraising page to make it easy for your friends and family to give too! Every gift, in any amount, will be matched 1:1 and gifts from new donors will be matched 2:1 for even greater impact!

You can also donate by check, make a gift of stock, or give through a donor advised fund.
