Community Resources for Safety & Support

community resource guide

At YWCA Evanston/North Shore, we stand in solidarity with all members of our community — especially those impacted by harmful immigration enforcement actions. ICE is not welcome in our community. We believe that everyone deserves to live in safety and dignity, free from fear and harassment.

In moments like these, access to reliable information, trusted organizations, and coordinated support is essential. Our comprehensive resource guide is designed to support anyone in our community who may be in need of assistance, including but not limited to those affected by ICE raids. It offers connections to local and regional organizations that provide critical services and pathways to safety, stability, and support for individuals and families — as well as for those who want to stand in solidarity with their neighbors. We will continue to update this page as new information and resources become available.

Standing Together

These are challenging times — but as a community, we are strongest when we act together. YWCA Evanston/North Shore will continue to work alongside our partners, neighbors, and advocacy organizations to protect the rights, safety, and dignity of all people in Evanston and beyond.
