YWCA Shop for Good
YWCA Shop for Good women’s resale boutiques are a social enterprise for YWCA Evanston/North Shore located in Evanston and Wilmette, Illinois.

When you shop at YWCA Shop for Good, you reduce waste, get more value for your money, AND support your local community. It’s shopping you can feel good about!
The shops are made possible through your donations, and 100% of profits help support YWCA’s domestic violence, economic advancement, and racial justice programs that serve women across northeastern Cook County.
We sell new and gently loved women’s clothing, outerwear, footwear, purses, jewelry and accessories. Donations arrive daily and are immediately placed on the floor. Many of our items are new with tags and we carry a variety of designer brands and unique finds!

We welcome you as a Shop volunteer
Volunteers help the paid staff, working on displays, unpacking donations, selling, or doing whatever is needed. Volunteers are needed both for special sales events or on a regular basis. If you enjoy interacting with customers, please consider interviewing to join our volunteer team! Volunteers must be willing to commit to a 2-1/2 hour afternoon shift once a week and one 3 hour Saturday shift each month.

As a lifelong advocate of women’s rights and social equity, I strongly support the Shop for Good’s purpose. Volunteering at the Shop is a perfect way to fill my newly-acquired free time as an empty nester. In addition, I’ve met a group of strong, kind and interesting colleagues and wonderful customers (not to mention the great and unique clothing finds!)” – Debbie
