Police and First Responder Training

Overview

We offer specialized training sessions tailored for police and first responders, including EMTs, firefighters, and other city workers. These sessions provide essential knowledge and practical skills to effectively handle situations involving domestic violence. The training is ILETSB-certified and approved to provide CEU credits for law enforcement and correctional officers.

Training Details

  • Date/Time: Available upon request to accommodate the specific needs of your group.

  • Location: We can conduct training at your preferred location, such as your police precinct or another facility. Alternatively, we can host the training at our facility if that's more convenient.

Why Should One Attend?

This interactive training equips law enforcement officers and first responders with the knowledge and practical tools needed to respond effectively to domestic violence incidents. We have developed these trainings specifically for first responders, including those who are not police officers. Please note:

  • NEMRT Certification: This certification may be relevant for police officers regarding their Continuing Education Units (CEUs). We recommend visiting the NEMRT certification website for more details on CEU requirements and updates.
