20-Hour Foundations of Equity Training

YWCA Evanston/North Shore is offering a powerful, 20-hour foundational equity training designed specifically for leaders who shape workplaces, institutions, and communities.

This is a structured, in-depth learning experience that equips leaders with historical understanding, practical tools, and relational skills needed to lead more equitably and effectively in today’s complex environments. There is special pricing available for Nonprofit professionals and Educators.

Why Equity Training?

Communities and organizations are facing major change, heightened expectations around equity, and increasingly diverse teams. Leaders are being called to respond with clarity, confidence, and competence.

This training helps participants:

  • Understand the historical roots of systemic inequities and how they continue to shape present-day systems

  • Identify how policies, practices, and cultural norms can reinforce inequity or strengthen equity

  • Strengthen an ability to lead across differences and change

  • Develop practical strategies for creating inclusive, accountable spaces

Who This Is For:

Whether you lead a nonprofit, manage a department, chair a board, or convene a professional network, this training provides foundational knowledge and applied tools that translate directly into your leadership practice.

This program represents a significant value for organizations seeking meaningful professional development without the cost of private consulting engagements!

NOTE: This training can be used toward ICDVP CEUs for professionals working in domestic violence prevention.

Seats are limited.

If your organization is committed to leading with integrity, strengthening culture, and serving your community more equitably, this is the right opportunity for you.
