With the expansion of our campus, YWCA Evanston/North Shore is pleased to offer rental rooms to organizations doing mission aligned work.  Located in the heart of Evanston, near public transportation, downtown, and with local street and limited on-site parking, YWCA is the perfect location for your next training or meeting!

Rooms must be rented by an organization, not an individual.

Hours of Availability

All set-up and clean up must fit within the time periods below. We cannot book activities that start before 9am or go past the closing time listed.

  • Monday – Friday:  9am-7:30pm
  • Saturday – Sunday: 9am-4:00pm

YWCA does not provide room set up. please plan to come early to set up the space. 

Room and Location Amenities

  • Wi-Fi
  • Lighting operated via two switches equipped with dimmers.
  • Optional connectivity to wall mounted monitor via HDMI cable or wireless Solstice devices.
  • Optional connectivity to Rally Pro Camera system – 206 Only
  • ADA accessible bathrooms and water foundations
  • ADA accessible elevator
  • Limited on-site parking
  • Access to a kitchenette
  • Access to large common space for breaks and informal socializing
  • Tables are collapsible and movable via wheels

Rental Rates

YWCA rents rooms to many community organizations.  We are unable to provide free room rentals unless YWCA is co-sponsoring and meaningfully collaborating on the specific event, including planning and delivery of program content.

Community Room 206: $90/hour for-profit organizations, $75/hour for non-profit organizations

All Other Rooms: $60/hour for-profit organizations, $40/hour for non-profit organizations

Cancellations and Refunds

Reservations cancelled at least 7 business days prior to the event will be eligible for a full refund.  Reservations cancelled within 7 business days of the event will receive no refund.

Rental Safety Requirements

All event or meeting attendees are required to sign in and out at the reception desk and must wear a badge while in the building. All organizations renting space are also asked to submit a list of all attendees in advance.

Steps for Reserving a Room

  1. Fill out the inquiry form below to see if a room is available.
  2. Upon email confirmation of availability, set up an account in Community Pass. After set up is complete, notify YWCA by emailing YWCA will hold the room for up to 2 business days. If a Community Pass account is not set up, the room reservation will be released without customer notification.
  3. YWCA will add the room to the customer’s Community Pass account and email the YWCA Room Rental Agreement 2023. The room charge must be fully paid and the document signed within 7 business days to officially reserve the room. If the room is not paid for or the agreement is not signed, the room reservation will be released.
