YWCA has a history of successfully fighting for social justice and leading social change— from voting rights to civil rights, from affordable housing to pay equity, from violence prevention to health care.
Today we deliver programs and services in three key areas: racial justice, women’s economic advancement, and women’s health and safety.
Over the last 10 years, YWCA has grown significantly, deepening its impact by delivering innovative programs that support our core mission. We’ve expanded our geographic reach, launched 15 new programs, renovated our facilities, and built a new emergency domestic violence shelter which doubles the number of survivors that we can serve.
Our impact is even greater because of our collaborations with corporate partners who share our commitment to ending racism and empowering women.
Partner with us today! Your corporate partnership will increase your reputation leadership, increase your social impact, and increase employee engagement.
Together, we can build a win-win-win partnership that will benefit your business, YWCA Evanston North Shore, and the women and families we serve.

There are a variety of YWCA events that provide our partners an opportunity to engagewith constituents made up of clients, board members, and community members. Our events range in size from intimate cocktail gatherings for our board and donors, to our annual Race Against Hate that attracts over 5,000 people each year.
YWCA Evanston/North Shore is always seeking sponsors for our two largest community events, the Ricky Byrdsong Memorial Race Against Hate and YWomen. Sponsors for these events receive a variety of benefits including event tickets, your logo highlighted on our website and social media, and more!

“In light of the tragic death of Ricky Byrdsong, there is something special about bringing employees together on Father’s Day to demonstrate that love, community, and kindness is more powerful than hate.” – Steve Hagerty, Hagerty Consulting, Race Against Hate Sponsor
