You’re invited to join community members for our monthly Let’s Talk at Lunch sessions, hosted by YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s Equity Institute team.

Let’s Talk @ Lunch is not your ordinary gathering. It’s an invitation to come together as a united community, ready to tackle racism head-on, rather than tiptoeing around it. Our goal is to foster open and honest conversations, where we embrace a common language and deepen our understanding by examining events and institutions through a racial equity lens.

Let’s Talk @ Lunch is held every 3rd Wednesday of the Month from 12:00pm-1:00pm CST in the Community Room at YWCA Evanston/ North Shore located at 1215 Church St in Evanston, IL

You’re encouraged to bring your lunch; after all, it’s about sharing more than just a meal – it’s about sharing experiences, knowledge, and compassion surrounding the topic of racial equity.Our sessions are designed to accommodate everyone, and we extend a warm welcome to all. Together, we’ll benefit from the guidance of trained facilitators who will skillfully navigate us through these vital conversations. Together, we will learn, grow, and effect positive change that ripples through our communities and beyond.
