YWCA Evanston/North Shore was recently named to Catalyst:Ed’s expert network based on its expertise and leadership in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Catalyst:Ed is a non-profit organization that connects highly skilled professionals/groups with organizations that need expert help for short-term projects so they can amplify their impact. The organization selects experts, such as YWCA Evanston/North Shore, twice a year through an intensive vetting process.
“Being selected for this network is very exciting,” said Tiffany McDowell, director of YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s Equity Institute. “Catalyst:Ed is recognizing our expertise in equity work and giving us visibility and opportunity. As part of this group we will be able to connect with others in the field and also offer our array of equity and inclusion services to organizations that need our help.”
As part of its mission, YWCA Evanston/North Shore conducts research and offers programs for corporations, schools, community groups, and individuals to help them become more equitable and inclusive. You can learn more at www.ywca-ens.org/equity-institute.
