What We Do ↘

YWCA Evanston/North Shore provides direct services and empowerment programming to address racial justice, economic empowerment of women, and health and safety for women and girls, while working to challenge structural barriers to equity.

  • Supporting Domestic Violence Survivors

    We ensure that survivors of domestic violence find the safety and support they need through our trauma-informed Domestic Violence Program.

  • Preventing Relationship Violence

    Our Violence Prevention education and training programs help build the skills necessary to develop healthy relationships and prevent gender violence.

  • Empowering Women and Girls

    Our Economic Advancement Program provides opportunities to become empowered through Financial Wellness and Job Skills Training.

  • Aquatics Access and Opportunity

    Promoting health and well-being through access to swimming through our Flying Fish Aquatics Program ia an important part of our YWCA history.

  • Racial Equity

    YWCA's Equity Institute is dedicated to promoting racial equity across individual, organizational, community and systemic levels.

  • Social Enterprise

    The YWCA Shop for Good Women’s Resale Boutiques are made possible through your donations, and 100% of profits help support YWCA’s programs and services.

    YWCA E/NS's Flying Fish Aquatics program provides scholarship opportunities to give children access to life-saving skills and lifelong health, confidence building, and personal growth opportunities.
